 Our Committee’s Mission

Our purpose is to provide more meaningful and valuable experiences with the Beacon brand for members, regional business leaders, and prospective members and partners. We are committed to consistent delivery of brand experiences, both internally and externally, reinforcing the value of ‘networking for life’ and fostering our shared culture of helping and giving. Team members participate in regular marketing meetings, dedicate time to help with on-gong brand management, and serve as committee liaisons to subgroups.    

Our Team

Comprised of experienced marketing and public relations executives, our diverse all volunteer team is charged with advancing the Beacon mission. The group sets priorities and establishes goals for optimizing awareness of Beacon across the region. From social media and digital strategies to video production and advertising our aggregate and individual skills are applied for high impact to the organization and the business community at large.

Our Current Programs

  • Craft and implement the organization’s annual marketing plan
  • Develop social media strategies that leverage the power of our member organization
  • Select marketing channels that efficiently and effectively reach business leaders, prospective new members and sponsors
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors evolving and managing the Beacon brand platform
  • Identify compelling stories for public relations initiatives
  • Develop sponsor relationships for boosting the number and value of events
  • Provide hands-on marketing support to all subgroups helping achieve their respective goals; such as increasing membership and event attendance
  • Evaluate tools and techniques for collecting and analyzing feedback and data
